Federal HUBZone Program Including SAM Workshop

Federal HUBZone Program Including SAM Workshop

The federal government's goal is to award at least 3% of all federal contracting dollars to HUBZone-certified small businesses each year. The government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses in historically underutilized business zones. It also gives preferential consideration to those businesses in full and open competition.

The first step is learning how the HUBZone Program works. At this workshop you will learn about the Federal HUBZone Program, the program benefits of being a HUBZone certified firm, and if you qualify for the HUBZone program.

In addition, you will learn about the HUBZone application process. If your business is located in a HUBZone area, and you have a product or service you can sell to the federal government, and want to take advantage of federal contracting opportunities, then this workshop is for you!

The Informational Workshops have been organized by the SBA for the community. The SBA’s participation is not an endorsement of any opinion, product or service of the organizations in attendance.

SBA programs and services are provided on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made, if requested at least two weeks in advance.
