DESCRIPTION:The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce is collaborating with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the UTRGV APEX Accelerator to bring you the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program and SAM.gov workshop.\n\n\n\nThe federal government's goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses each year.\n\n\n\nAt this workshop you will learn about the Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and the Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) Program\, the benefits of being a Women-Owned Small Business certified firm\, and if you qualify for the WOSB or EDWOSB program.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, you will learn about WOSB's application process. If your business is owned and controlled by a woman\, and you have a product or service you can sell to the federal government\, and you want to take advantage of federal contracting opportunities\, then this workshop is for you.
